What are the preconditions for using m-ba?

The preconditions for using m-ba include:

  • an active current, student, Teen or giro account at the Bank
  • contracted m-ba service
  • a mobile device that can access the Internet
  • a mobile device with the operating system version Android 5.0 or higher
  • a mobile device with the operating system version iOS 8.0
  • sufficient memory for storing the m-ba application

How can I sign up for m-ba?

You can sign up for m-ba at any UniCredit Bank branch, as an independent service or as an integral part of the accoount package module.

All you need to do is:

  • Visit the nearest UniCredit Bank branch
  • Sing up for m-ba
  • Install the m-ba application on your mobile device
  • Activate the m-ba app with activation codes
  • Choose your PIN and start using m-ba
Can I carry out transactions via m-ba also under accounts I am authorized for?

By acquiring authorization, you have gained the same rights as the main user for performing transactions under account(s) you are authorized for. On your request, accounts you are authorized for are associated with your m-ba. 

How safe is m-ba?

The m-ba application is used with a high level of security that enables:

  • protection of your data through encryption
  • minimum quantity of data is stored on the mobile device
  • automatic switch-off of the application after 3 minutes of inactivity
  • application is locked out after three successive entries of incorrect PIN

The security is further strengthened with a software token that is an integral part of the application, intended for user identification in addition to PIN. The m-ba application PIN is not connected with the mobile phone PIN you may be using. It is recommended that they are not the same, for the additional protection. Protect your PIN because it represents your signature! Do not disclose it or make it accessible to other people, because in that way you open up the possibility for misuse. 

What are the fees for using m-ba?

Monthly fee for using m-ba (as an independent service outside the package) amounts to BAM 2,50.

Monthly fee for using m-ba within the package:

  • Free of charge for all users of Module account package
  • Free of charge for all users of Optimum and Expert model JES! account package, Standard, Silver and Gold account package
  • Users of Student and Senior model JES! account packages can choose which of the two electronic services (m-ba or e-ba) they want to use free of charge. In case the user wants to use both services, monthly fee for using the other service amounts to BAM 1,00
What is the amount of fees for payment transactions (payment of bills, utilities, etc.) via m-ba?

Fees for payment transactions (payment of bills, utilities, etc.) via m-ba are, on average, up to 80% cheaper than transactions conducted at a Bank branch. 

What to do if I delete/lock m-ba (after three successive entries of incorrect PIN) or change my mobile device on which I used m-ba?

If you delete/lock the application or change mobile device, you can call our toll-free number 080 081 051 (calls from abroad: + 387 33 222 999) for the app reactivation.

I have lost my mobile device with the activated m-ba app?

You can report loss/theft of the mobile device you used for the m-ba service by calling our toll-free number 080 081 051 (calls from abroad: + 387 33 222 999), in order to have the service blocked, with the prevention of unauthorized access to accounts. 

Can I use m-ba on several mobile devices?

You can use your m-ba on only one mobile device – the device you requested the m-ba application be delivered to during the sign-up.  

Can domestic and foreign payment orders be entered during the entire day?

Payment orders can be entered 24 hours a day, but their realization is carried out during the working hours provided for payment transactions:

Domestic payment orders

  • Orders between accounts within the Bank entered during business days by 20:00h (on Saturday by 15:00h) will be executed on the same business day.
  • Orders to accounts in other banks up to BAM 10,000.00 entered during business days by 14:00h will be executed on the same business day.
  • Orders to accounts in other banks over BAM 10,000.00 and urgent orders entered during business days by 15:30h will be executed on the same business day.

Orders entered after the specified times will be executed on the following business day. The application will automatically set the payment date to the next business day, and will inform the user about this with a pop-up message on the screen.

Foreign payment orders

When entering a foreign payment order, the client chooses the order execution time as follows:

  • T+2 - the order will be executed in 48 hours/two business days - the deadline for receiving orders is 15:00h
  • T+1 - the order will be executed in 24 hours - the deadline for receiving orders is 13:00h
  • T+0 - urgent orders, execution on the same day – the deadline for receiving orders is 12:00h

When entering an order through the m-ba application, the client is obliged to submit a credible document from which it is possible to determine the basis of the transfer of funds to the e-mail: Outgoing.Payments@unicreditgroup.ba or by fax to the number +387 36 317 301. Otherwise, and in accordance with the law, the order will not be able to be processed.

I opted for getting an e-mail confirmation for my transaction but I have not received it?

You need to send a request for confirmation from your e-mail registered with the Bank, to the e-mail address of Customer Support eba.gradjani@unicreditgroup.ba or call our toll-free number 080 081 051 (calls from abroad: + 387 33 222 999).
