UniCredit Bank d.d. offers domestic payment services according to the highest standards. Orders for the payment of domestic payment transactions, made through electronic services, are processed and cleared automatically.

What are the basic elements of a payment order?

When sending a domestic payment order, among other things, it is mandatory to specify the following elements:


1) name of the payer;
2) name and address of the payee;
3) the payer's current account number;
4) current account number of the payee;
5) amount and currency;
6) reference number;
7) purpose of payment;
8) date of payment;

What are the deadlines for the execution of domestic payment orders?

For a better understanding of the deadlines for the execution of domestic payment orders, we provided an explanation as follows:


- Orders carried out between accounts within the Bank and that are sent on weekdays until 8:00 p.m. (on Saturdays until 3:00 p.m.) are executed the same day.

- Orders executed between accounts within the Bank, sent after 8:00 p.m. (on Saturdays after 3:00 p.m.) will be executed on the first following working day.

- Orders transferred to accounts in other banks up to 10,000.00 KM, and that are sent on a working day by 2:00 p.m., are executed the same day.

- Orders transferred to accounts in other banks over 10,000.00 KM and urgent orders, which are sent on a working day by 3:30 p.m., are executed the same day.

What is needed to send money abroad?

- UniCredit Bank d.d. clients can make a payment abroad from any transaction, or foreign currency account, they have opened with UniCredit Bank d.d.
- On the account from which the payment is made, it is necessary to ensure coverage in the currency of payment, as well as to provide coverage for fee and to submit the basis for making the payment.
- If the payment order is executed on the basis of conversion, i.e. by purchasing foreign currency from the Bank, the Bank will debit the client's transaction account at the Bank's selling rate on the day of submission of the order for the equivalent value of the payment currency.
- In order to avoid conversion costs, it is definitely better for the client to open a foreign currency account in the currency of payment.

How is the payment made?

- through mobile banking (m-ba) and internet banking (e-ba) services
- in any branch of the Bank by filling out a request for sending a remittance abroad

What recipient information is required to send a foreign remittance?

Following information is required:

  1. Name and surname of the account user
  2. IBAN number - International Bank Account Number is an account number, on the basis of which international transactions are carried out
  3. Bank's SWIFT address (BIC). SWIFT or BIC is an international bank identification code. Each bank has a unique SWIFT (BIC) that enables international payment orders to reach the correct bank. SWIFT address of UniCredit Bank d.d. is UNCRBA22
What documentation is required to execute the order?

For payment abroad, the following is required:

  1. submit a valid payment order - submit an invoice 
  2. an estimate or contract on the basis of which payment is made. It is important to note that when submitting coverage for the payment, it is necessary to provide an official document such as an invoice or contract. Offers in the form of email are not a valid coverage. A client who makes a payment abroad via electronic banking is obliged to submit accompanying documentation when entering a payment order (basis of payment) by adding attachments through the e-ba application, by e-mail outgoing.payments@unicreditgroup.ba, by fax (036 317-301).
  3. ensure financial coverage for execution of the order
How long does it take to execute an order?

Every order for payment abroad (if it meets the legal requirements and has insured coverage) that is delivered to any branch office of the Bank by 3 p.m., is executed the same day, except on Saturdays when received orders are processed the next working day.


If it is a standard processing with a value date of +2 business days (T+2);


If it is a transaction with a value date of +1 business day (T+1) (and which are not subject to the Flash Payments System*);


If it is a processing with a value date of the same day (T+0);

 

*International invoices stating the following:

• an account opened in one of the UniCredit Group member banks,

• payment currency EUR

• specified IBAN and BIC (SWIFT address) UNCRBA22

 

Orders received by 13:00 will be executed with the payment currency T+0.

Orders received after 1:00 p.m. will be executed the next working day with the payment currency T+0.

Inflows from abroad (depending on which country the sender of the funds comes from) are processed with the currency of the same working day or the next working day at the latest.

 

What is required to receive money from abroad?

To receive a payment, the client must have any current or foreign currency account with UniCredit Bank d.d. In order to execute orders faster and avoid conversion costs, it is definitely better to open a foreign currency account in the currency of payment.

What information should be submitted to the payer?

Following information must be submitted to the payer:


• Name and surname of the account user
• IBAN number - International Bank Account Number is the account number, on the basis of which international transactions are executed. For UniCredit Bank d.d., the IBAN number consists of the country code (BA39) + the client's transaction number
• The IBAN number can be checked on the foreign currency account statement, on the contract signed by the client when opening the foreign currency account, in the mobile banking application (m-ba), the electronic banking application (e-ba), or by calling our Support toll-free number 080 081 051
• Bank's SWIFT address (BIC)
• Name of the Bank: UniCredit Bank d.d. Mostar
• Address of the Bank: Kardinala Stepinca b.b., 88000 Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Do I have costs when receiving funds?

The client's bank manages the way of sending transactions and chooses the intermediary banks through which the transaction will be carried out. In doing so, it is important to know that the costs of intermediary banks and the end user's bank will be charged later. The amount of these costs is unknown to the ordering bank when the order is sent, and the costs are known only after they are collected. UniCredit Bank d.d. cannot influence the amount of fees charged by other banks.

Fees for receiving money charged by UniCredit Bank d.d. are defined by the currently valid Fee Tariff for doing business with individual clients.

It is useful to know!

When completing the Order, it is necessary to fill in all the items and specify the correct IBAN of the user and the SWIFT address of the user's bank, so that clients avoid additional costs due to possible complaints from foreign banks.

Important note regarding IBAN and SWIFT

Regardless of whether funds are sent or received, it is useful to know that when filling out an order for international payment, it is important to specify the user's IBAN and SWIFT address of the user's bank in order to avoid additional costs due to possible complaints from foreign banks, which can be high. Also, it is important to state the correct IBAN account number of the person to whom the money is being sent, not e.g. one of the family members. The bank will not be able to book an order in which the account number and name of the account user do not match. The order will be returned to the sender and additional charges may apply.

Standard Standing Order

If you want to pay a monthly allowance to your loved ones,  by a standard standing order the predefined amount will be credited to their account each month, accurately as a clock.

By setting up a standing order, you get numerous possibilities:

  • to have the Bank make regular payments on your behalf and from your account in fixed amounts and at the time of your choice;
  • by a standard standing order, your loan installments and card expenses will be paid accurately and on time;
  • you can set up a standing order for savings purposes, so you don't have to worry about transferring the planned amount of money to your savings deposit each month, since we do it for you;
  • when setting up a standing order, you can choose the deadline for its execution yourself, whereas you are free to cancel or amend the standing order at any moment.

To apply:

  • You can apply for a standing order at any branch office of the Bank;
  • On the date of your standing order execution, it is necessary to have sufficient funds in your account for this purpose;
  • If you use one of the a JES Account Package, applying for a standing order is fully free of charge.

Standing Order - Direct Debit 

Purpose and Features of the Standing Order - Direct Debit:

  • to have the Bank make payments on your behalf and from your account in favour of legal entities whose amounts and due dates are variable and which are determined by such legal entities;
  • on the date of your standing order execution, it is necessary to have sufficient funds in your account for this purpose;
  • you can apply for a direct debit at any branch office of the Bank or via e-ba service;

You are not allowed to store into the safe items that are perishable, explosive, flammable, radioactive or could in any way endanger the safety of other safe deposit boxes and the Bank.
