By opening a power of attorney for products, you authorize one or more persons to dispose of the funds in your account.

Steps for granting power of attorney:

• Visit the nearest branch with the person to whom you want to give authorization, where you also give authorization by signing the Request for opening a power of attorney for the account of a natural person.

• If the person you want to authorize is a client of the Bank, he/she must have a valid identification document (identity card) when visiting the branch office.

• If the person you want to authorise is not a client of the Bank, he/she must have a copy of the certificate of residence, which is no older than 3 months from the date of granting the power of attorney, in addition to the specified valid identification document.

If the account owner is unable to visit the nearest branch, it is possible to authorize another person to dispose of the funds in the account, based on a written power of attorney.

The written power of attorney is certified by the competent body in Bosnia and Herzegovina (public notary or authorized public administration body), and if the power of attorney is issued abroad, it must be duly certified by the diplomatic-consular representative office of BiH in that country or by the competent body of that country, including valid legalization of the document in case legalization is required in accordance with the applicable regulations. Documents in languages that are not in official use in Bosnia and Herzegovina should be translated by an authorized court interpreter.
